Wow! Thats the 1st thing that comes to mind when i think of last night. For so many reasons other than just the band. This was my 5th U2 show live, I went to Eugene Popmart and I was at Tacoma, Vancouver and Portland in 01 (in the heart for B.C. and P-Town!!), but this time I was able to take my 5 year old daughter to her 1st U2 show, which made it truly beautiful. By the next tour the 3 year old will be able to go too!!

Musically the boys were on time last night, they sounded great. Edge was amazing, as always, and Adam and Larry were solid. Bono's voice sounded a little bit more like it did on the Popmart Tour as opposed to the Elevation Tour, but he was still good, and his energy was contagious. Sunday Bloody Sunday back to back with Love and Peace was AMAZING. The crowd was good, the GA section was more lively, but everyone sang their asses off like a good U2 crowd should.

I think my favorite moments from the show were hearing SBS with Love and Peace together and Bono going nuts on the drums, and Miss Sarejavo, which was absolutely breathtaking. I was a bit scared when Bono said he was singing Pavarotti's part, but he NAILED IT. Absolutely riveting.

Overall a great show, a great message, and I feel blessed that my daughter got to see them too.

BTW, Kayne was great, after suffering through 3 friggin nights of PJ Harvey in 2001 this was a welcome change.
