I am actually still speechless. What a performance. This is actually 5th time (1 popmart, 3 elevation, and this being 1st Vertigo). I really didn't expect a performance like this from a band that hasn't made a TRUE hit since 1991 and who have mid age crisis.
Actually, the new songs sounded amazing, COBL and Vertigo specially. Yahweh SUCKS, but they played it well, accoustic. During Opening COBL, Bono popped right infront of me.
I was standing on the Floor, second row outside Elipse (center) where the band spend most of their time. Someone here mentioned the guy with long hands and his wife that was going crazy for Miss Sarajevo. I met that couple, they were standing next to me, and they're actually refugees FROM SARAJEVO, and they were trully suprised and she cried after the Pavarotti part(so who ever posted that is a jackass).
- Crowd energy was UNBELIEVABLE. Bono even said it, WOW this is amazing.
The guy playing party girl, he did an AWESOME solo.
Also, some guy next to me got his U2 Cover SPIN magazine signed by Bono and The Edge. Bono took his magazine and said "I've never signed an autograph during concert, but why not" and gave it to Edge.
During I still haven't found, his mic and soundpiece got disconnected, so the crowd carried the flow and continued to sing. It was amazing.
During Stuck in the moment, bono messed up a timing, but stopped, told the crowd to "give them a sec" and then caught up with The Edge, while the band joined in. Excellent comeback
Highlights: COBL, Electric Co (esp. the Edge), Miss Sarajevo, Streets, With or without you, 40, SBS (with two little twins singning NO MORE)

This shows was WAAAAAAY better then that Boston DVD from Elevation tour. Cant compare, really.
I wish i could experience that again.
Good job U2 and good job Pittsburgh.
