I attended my very first U2 show on December 9 in Buffalo, NY. My brother and his wife got my husband and I tickets for Christmas.

The show was absolutely AWESOME! The seats we had were great! We were so close; much closer than I had anticipated. They opened with City of Blinding Lights, one of my favorites from the new CD. I couldn't believe it...there was Bono right in front of us, quite a surreal moment!!!

The crowd was so into it. I had never been to a show where there were so many people. Everyone seemed to be up out of their seats singing/dancing. It was so powerful to hear everyone singing in unison.

Bono at one point said "Wow" to the reaction from the crowd after Where the Streets Have No Name was played. At that point it made me wonder how that must feel to see so many people enjoying what you and your friends/bandmates have created. It must be quite an incredible feeling.

My brother has always been a HUGE U2 fan and because of his tenacity in getting us to go to a live show, I will certainly be a lifelong fan as well.

The music, singing, lights, stage, crowd...everything was perfect. The most perfect part was sharing it with my brother, his wife and my husband.

Thank you Marc and Sue for a memory we'll have forever...we love you!
